HMC Scholarships

The HMC (Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference) is an association of the head
teachers of 361 independent schools in the United Kingdom. Its main purpose is to give
students from Central and Eastern European countries opportunities to study in the United
Kingdom.

Georgian students have the opportunity to study with partial or full scholarship in leading
private British boarding schools. The project is implemented exclusively by Unique Learning
in Georgia.

Eligibility
Applications will be accepted from students born between 1 February 2006 and 1
September 2007. The family’s annual income should not exceed 30,000 Georgian Lari.

Selection
Candidates are selected based on testing, academic performance, teacher
recommendation, and interviews, where candidates must demonstrate adaptability and
leadership skills. Interested candidates must go through the following stages:

  • Registration
  • Submission of documents
  • Testing
  • Interview

Funding
The scholarship fully or partially covers the costs of education, food and accommodation.
The scholarship does not cover administrative, travel, visa and insurance costs.

Project advantages

ASSIST

The ASSIST project team gives Georgian pupils opportunities to receive scholarships at
leading American private schools. The project fully or partially covers the costs of education,
food, and living.

Eligibility
Applications will be accepted from students born between 1 February 2006 and 1
September 2007.

Harrogate Ladies’ College

Harrogate Ladies ’College is a private independent school for girls ages 11 to 18, founded in 1893. The school is located in North Yorkshire, UK.

Kings Education

Kings Education allows Georgian pupils to receive scholarships at both British and American
Kings colleges. While attending school, students will prepare for A Level exams and engage
in additional non-academic activities. Students have the opportunity to gain 10 to 50%
funding.

Applications will be accepted from students born between 1 February 2006 and 1
September 2007.
